We provide chaperone service to help keep kids and teens safe, organized, and supported throughout the day. Our chaperones guide the group, help with ride access, and make sure participants stay together and enjoy the park in a structured way. For private or teen sessions, the chaperone service also helps us meet the new Wonderland policy for guests under 15, which requires a chaperone age 21 or older.
Public shared sessions are designed for children ages 6–12, while teen private sessions are available for ages 13–15. Private options may also be available for children who need a more personalized experience.
Whenever possible, children are grouped with others of similar age and ride comfort. Grouping may also be adjusted behind the scenes based on attendance and operational needs to help create the best possible experience.
Sessions include guided movement through the park, rides and activities, scheduled washroom and water breaks, and a return to the designated pick-up point at the end of the session. Longer sessions may also include a meal break.
Yes. All guests must have their own valid ticket or pass for entry, whether they are attending a public shared session or a private booking. Tickets or passes may be shown as an e-ticket on a mobile device or as a printed copy at the entrance gate, and the barcode, order number, product name, and validity must be clearly visible.
Please send a water bottle, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. We also recommend sending money for food and snacks.
Drop-off and pick-up take place at the designated Wonderland area at Norwood Ave and Jane St. Staff in bright yellow shirts will be on site to help guide families.
Canada’s Wonderland has moved to all cashless payments and accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Interac Direct Payment, Apple Pay, & Google Pay for park admission, restaurants and gift shops. The park also has Cash-to-Card kiosks where you can convert your cash into a prepaid debit card.
Public shared sessions may be cancelled for credit only with at least 48 hours’ notice. Private group sessions, including teen sessions, may be cancelled for credit only with at least 7 days’ notice. You may reschedule before the applicable deadline, and any credit may be used toward a future session, subject to availability.
No, outside food and packed lunches are not permitted inside the park. If your child has a meal pass, we will visit the participating food outlets. Otherwise, please send money for food and snacks.
Cash is not used directly in the park, but it can be converted to a park card and used like debit. We can help with that if needed.
No, park admission tickets are not included. Each child must arrive with a valid ticket or pass.
Yes. If Wonderland is open, the session will proceed as scheduled, rain or shine.
To help make sure every child enjoys rides that are right for them, we place children into ride groups based on height. This helps us match each child with the attractions they can safely and comfortably enjoy.
Group A: 54" and up — can enjoy everything.
Group B: 48" to 53" — can enjoy most wooden coasters and several looping steel coasters.
Group C: 40" to 47" — best suited for family coasters and smaller hills.
Group D: Under 40" — limited to kiddie areas and basic flat rides.
If enrollment is too low to run a session safely and smoothly, we may cancel and offer a credit or rescheduling option, subject to availability.
